As a courier or a company transporting goods Public Liability cover is essential?

The reason Public Liability is needed is that you are at risk when loading and unloading goods and also when you are entering customers and clients premises when delivering the goods.

If you injury or damage another persons or their property in the line of work then you need adequate cover in case they decide to claim damages from you for injury or damage to their property?

For Example:-

• When loading or unloading the goods that are being carried if you injury a person by dropping something or leave something lying around
• When inside someones property or moving an item again you could damage their property or even a person
• Employers liability, if you have an employee you need cover in case they injury themselves when working, Lifting etc.
• Public liability is needed for the employees as well as they are your responsibility as an employers
