A lot of students fall down on this. Don't select the lowest overall contents cover if you have a few items that individual are of reasonably high value.

Our insurer will cover up to 25% of the overall contents you have selected for a single item.

So don't go for the lowest contents cover at £2,500 if you have an individual item more than £600 as the individual item limit would be £625 (25% of £2,500).

Many insurers single item limit can be as low as £250, regardless of the overall cover you have selected!
